FUFA drum final is to kick off tomorrow on 6th Jan as Lango province will be facing West Nile.
KCCA FC forward Allan Okello will be a key player for Lango province in the first round of the final in Greenlight Stadium as they will be facing West Nile province, He is the joint top scorer alongside Ibrahim Dada of West Nile with 4 goals
In the Semi finals of the FUFA drum Lango won Tororo on aggregate 3-2 with Allan Okello scoring a decider in the second round while West Nile won Acholi on aggregate 2-1
Allan Okello hope the team to give its best out of the preparations and to make the their fans happy
” l believe we have prepared well ahead of first leg away”
” For me this would be a fantastic opportunity to make all ‘langis’ proud about winning such a competition ” he added
So we are going into the game to give everything and also get an away goal advantage” Akello added
While asked about winning the golden boot of the tournament he answered
” it’s good that l have scored 4 goals so far but for me it doesn’t matter whether am the top scorer or not, what matters is that we have to give everything to make Lango province proud”
Meanwhile West Nile skipper and Goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi who has kept 5 clean sheets out of 6 is set to miss because of National duties
This edition is set to be the 3rd one with West Nile reaching final for the second time after a loss by the Buganda province in 2018, Acholi won the Second edition in 2019.
