It has been the first signing of URA FC in the January transfer windows as the leage broke off in the preparations of African Nations Championship (CHAN) expected to kick off soon on 13th Jan in Algeria
Bruno Bunyaga has been playing for Bushenyi Veterans and he has put pen to paper on a 3 years contract with the Tax collectors
URA’s low scoring rate this season has forced them land the striker as they have only netted 15 goals in 14 games played an average of 1•07 goals per game
Bruno Bunyaga started at academy football at life Internal – Natere, Brisko Lungujja, Arrows soccer Academy – Lungujja and Devine sports academy . he has since played in the fourth and third divisions at Sparta 09, field of Dreams, Impala hill and Bushenyi Veterans
In the Buganda Masaza cup, he started at Buvuma 2020 and played two stints at Buddu 2021 and 2022. At Buvuma he scored 3 goals in 4 games , in 2021 he won the Masaza cup finishing as joint top scorer with 6 goals in 7 matches. This very season Bunyaga 7 goals in 14 matches helped Buddu reach finals of the Buganda Masaza cup
In 2022, Bunyaga was the University football leage top scorer with 12 goals and the most valuable player of the tournament and thus robbing URA FC’s attention
