URA FC announce double electrifying duo ahead of UPL season

With just a few days to the start of the 2022-2023 Uganda Premier League season, a number of Premier League sides are still strengthening themselves with new signings.

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) has been the busiest in the transfer window in the closing stage ahead of the season start.

After midfielder Hassan Kalega renewing his contract with the tax collectors, the club has now announced the singing of two new electrifying players.

First to be announced was Lubowa Michael who joined the club in a two year deal.

The midfielder has been training with the tax collector for the past six weeks.

And after impressing the coaching staff, he was handed a two year contract.

He joins URA FC from Impala FC and he’s expected to strengthen the club’s midfield as they challenge for the league title.

The other signing is Senjobe Eric who was also given a two year contract.

Senjobe who has also been training with Sam Timbe’s side for the previous 3 weeks impressed with his defensive capabilities.

Therefore he’s expected to solidify URA’s backline in the 2022-2023 UPL season.

The defender spent last season with Police FC before the team got relegated.

He’s also played for both the KCCA Junior and senior team previously.

Meanwhile, URA FC will begin their 2022-2023 Uganda Premier League campaign by hosting Onduparaka FC at the Vision of Arena on the 1st of October 2022.
