Kampala Queens add Nabulime to the Palace

Uganda Women Super League money bags Kampala Queens have announced the signing of defender Jamirah Nabulime.

Nabulime joins the palace on a permanent deal from relegated Tooro Queens becoming the eighth player signed by KQ in the ongoing transfer window.

Nabulime was a vital player in the Tooro Queens squad despite failing to help them secure a safety stay in the top flight League.

She adds alot of competition in Kampala Queens defence as she will have to fight her way into the first team with competition from players like Asia Nakibuuka, Lukia Namubiru and Damali Matama.

Kampala Queens finished runners up against She Corporates last season with just a one goal difference denying them silverware.

The palace Queens have embarked on strengthening their squad both in the front and the backline signing players like Daisy Nakaziro, Sumaya Komuntale, Teddy Najjuma, Grace Aluka, Elizabeth Nakigozi, Hassifa Nassuna and Asia Nakibuuka.

They started the 2022/2023 season an a high with a 5-0 thumping against new comers Asubo Gafford ladies at their home in Kabojja.

They will return to league action with a crucial tie against rivals and defending champions She Corporates on Sunday at MUBS arena.
