Vipers SC get back in action in Startimes Uganda Premier League as they will be hosting Express FC at their home St Mary’s Kitende at 7: pm.
Vipers SC who lost their first fixture to NEC FC on a 3-1 score and will have to work hard to register their first win.
Express FC won their first game against Mbale Heroes on a 2-1 score at their new home Hamz Stadium and will also seek to maintain their perfect start.
After the loss to NEC FC, Vipers SC ‘s head coach Nikola Kovazovic revealed in a post macth review on how Rogers Torach and Hillary Mundane were his first priority defenders and it is yet to be known whether they will be handled their first game after missing out the previous one.
Abdul Karim Watambala seemed to have failed to fit the serbian gaffer’s style and we are yet to see whether Frank Katongole or Siraje Sentamu one will be given an opportunity.
For Express FC, Sam Ssenyonjo who scored a brace in their previous game of Mbale Heroes will be crucial in the tie.
Mustafa Kizza remains a doubt for Express after being substituted in the opening of Mbale Heroes tie with a knock.
In other games, Kitara FC will be welcoming NEC FC in their new home Royal park Butema.
Kitara FC edged Lugazi FC on a 3-0 score in their opening game while NEC FC edged Vipers on a 3-1 score.
Kitara FC will relie more on inform Jude Semugabi, Denis Omedi as they will be seeking a perfect start.
Elsewhere at Bombo Military Grounds, UPDF FC will be welcoming Lugazi FC.
Action will resume tomorrow on 19th September as Maroons will be welcoming Wakiso Giants, BUL FC will be welcoming KCCA FC, Mbarara city FC will be welcoming Police FC and URA FC will be visiting Soltilo Bright Stars.
