The Pepsi University league year 2024/2025 has returned with group stages revealed after successful draws held at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo on Thursday 5th of September.
A total of 23 University teams will participate in 2024/2025 edition unlike the previous edition where there were 21 teams.
Nkumba University who are the defending champions are pitted in group A alongside Busitema University, Islamic University in Uganda and ISBAT.
The 2024/2025 edition will kick off on 17th September with Uganda Christian University taking action with a yet known opponent from group C.
Nkumba University who had to open the ceremony on that day are excused as they will be taking action in the African University Championships in Lagos.
Muteesa 1 Royal University who were pitted in group F alongside MUBS and Mbarara University of Science and Technology are the only debutant.
Kyambogo University who were handled a two year ban after acts of hooliganism during games of Ndejje and Muni in the previous edition are to miss this edition.
