Nemo Stars were crowned winners of the 2024 National Volleyball Club championships after a 3-1 score in the final match played at Old Kampala Arena.
A tight encounter saw Nemo Stars dominate the score as they took the first two sets in their favours with a 25:20, 25:19 set scores.
The defending champions Sport-S tried to stage a comeback as they winning the third set by a 19:25 score but their efforts were cut short as they lost the last set to lose the title.
In the ladies category, KCB Nkumba emerged winners of the 2024 National Volleyball Club championships after defeating KCCA 2-1 in a closely contested battle.
Nkumba to the lead as they won the first set with a 25:18 score but KCCA fought back to draw the sets level with a 17:25 set win.
Nkumba fought hard to reverse the score of a 25:17 in their way as they won the third set to be announced champions.
