Uganda 2-0 Congo
Uganda defeated Congo 2-0 in the AFCON qualifier match played at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
Goals from Abdul Azziz Kayondo and Jude Ssemugabi ensured that the Cranes moved to the top of group K with 4 points after picking up maximum points at home.
Uganda started off their first home game in the AFCON qualifiers with a spirited mode as fans rallied behind them in huge numbers.
This gave Paul Put’s side the boosting mode as they dominated the game from the start.
