Seven time Startimes Uganda Premier League winners Express FC have confirmed the signing of left back Mustafa Kizza.
Mustafa Kizza joins Express FC as a free agent after leaving KCCA FC in July and were both parties opted not to renew .
“The roving left back is officially a Red Eagle” Express FC confirmed on their social media platform X.
Mustafa Kizza has inked down a one year working contract with the Mukwano gwa bangi team.
Mustafa Kizza who has had professional stints in Arouca (Portugal) and Montreal (USA) comes to Express FC who are fighting hard to get back to their glory days.
Express FC will therefore relie more on his experience, work rate, and leadership as they will be seeking a better season than the previous one.
Mustafa Kizza joins other new recruits at the club including Emmanuel Wasswa, Derrick Ngobi, Saidi Kyeyune, Rashid Kawawa, Dan Shabena, Sam Ssenyonjo, Herbert Kibirango, Micheal Kagiri, Charles Ssembalirwa, Geoffrey Gagganga, Hafidhu Ssonko, Elvis Ssekajugo, and Hakimi Wandera.
In the previous season 2023/2024, Express FC finished 12th with 32 points from 29 games just 7 points away from relegation.
This coming season 2024/2025, Express FC already confirmed Nakivubo war Memorial Stadium as their home ground and it’s where they will kick start their new campaign against Mbale Heroes on 14th of Saturday September.
