CAF CONFEDERATION’S CUP: Uganda’s Kitara FC optimistic to overturn first leg’s defeat result against Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi.

Uganda s representatives in Caf Confederation’s cup Kitara FC will be in action on Friday 23rd of August aginst Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi at the Martyrs of Benin.

Kitara FC comes into the game with a lot of work to do if the team is to advance through to the next stage.

They suffered a 3-2 defeat in the first leg at the same stadium Martyrs of Benina.

“We didn’t get the desired result in the first leg, but every player gave their all especially in the second half” Dennis Omedi talk to the club media before adding.

” It will be a very tough game, but we have the determination and confidence to go far”.

Kitara FC will miss the services of their goalkeeper Crispus Kusiima who was red carded in the first fixture.

Kitara FC will relie more on services of their striking force of Denis Omedi, Jude Semugabi, Fred Amaku, Brian Aheebwa as well their defence led by captain Maxwell Owachigiu, Ronald Otti and Nyokonjo has to be alert.

Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi is where Uganda Cranes foward Mohammad Shaban features from.

He scored the opening goal of the fixture and Kitara FC will have to deal with him this time round.

The aggregate winner will face Al masry of Egypt.
