Masaza Cup: Kiwanuka with a positive start at Busiro

Busiro played out to a goalless draw against Ssese in the Masaza cup game played at Sentema saza ground.

Playing at home, Busiro dominated the game right away from the start as they created a couple of chances but they failed to put the ball in the back of the net.

Paul Kiwanuka who replaced coach Emuron Recoba managed to start off his duties with a point as they bounced from a loss against kabula in their previos away game.

Kiwanuka remains confident of guiding the 2022 champions out of the group stages as they sit bottom of the masengere group with 2 points out of the 4 games they have played.

“We have picked up a point today against Ssese though it is not what we came for but this is the starting point as our main target is to make it out of the group stage. We are remaining with 6games in the group and we going to fight and make it out of the group.” said Paul Kiwanuka

Busiro are yet to finish the first round games after missing their home game against Buvuma as it was postponed.

Busiro will return in action on the 4th August at home as they face Buvuma in their last game of first round..
