Wakiso Giants shift to St. Mary’s stadium as they host owners Vipers

Wakiso based entity Wakiso Giants is set to use St Mary’s Kitende as their home ground when they will be hosting Vipers SC in Startimes Uganda Premier league.

Wakiso Giants requested the Uganda Premier league secretariat to re-allocate from their usual playground Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium to St Mary’s Kitende with the main aim of raising revenue to be used by the club.

” The UPL Secretariat received a letter from Wakiso Giants FC requesting to change the venue for their match against Vipers SC ” reads part of their official letter.

It should be remembered Vipers SC edged Wakiso Giants on a 3-0 score in the first round courtesy of Yunus Sentamu and Watambala’s brace.

Wakiso Giants have been suffering both on and off the pitch hence with this strategy.

They currently sit 12th on the UPL log with 20 points from 19 games.
