For their second game in international Friendlies, Uganda was in action with Ghana where KCCA FC Forward Mohammed Shaban had to strike late to salvage a point.

Ghana took the lead in the 6th minute through Jerome Opoku.

Uganda leveled matters one minute later through Steven Dece Mukwala through a penalty kick after Rogers Mato was fouled.

Mohammed Shaban then leveled matters in the 82nd minute striking hard from a lose ball.

It has to be remembered that Uganda lost their first game to Comoros on a 4-0 score.

Uganda Cranes Coach Paul Put had this stay after the brilliant display.

” l am happy with this result because we played one of the strongest teams in Africa so l think the players made a good performance “.

” But we may not be blind, for a tournament like world cup qualifiers, we conceded two goals again today as we have to learn so that it doesn’t happen in June if you concede goals, it’s very difficult to come back” Put added.
