The Queen Cranes saw there journey to finals cut short by Nigeria who defeated them 2-0 but clinching bronze defines their success in this tournament.
It was the first silverware medal for the Queen Cranes at the continental level.
Throughout the game, The Queen Cranes played their best and went toe to toe with Senegal.
Only Docus Lwalisa missed her take but the rest Shamira Nalugya, Shakirah Nankwanga, Harima Kanyago, Catherine Wujja, Shamusa Najjuma and Catherine Nagadya all converted theirs.
