Stanbic Uganda Cup: Kitara FC ease past helpless Gaddafi

Masindi based entity Kitara FC reached round of 16 in Stanbic Uganda Cup after edging Gaddafi FC on a 2-0 score in Masindi.

Gaddafi FC looked helpless as Kitara dominated the game while at home.

Forward George Ssenkaba opened the score for Kitara FC in the 14th minute.

Inform Denis Omedi doubled the lead in the 66th minute with a well taken freekick.

The hosts would’ve scored more but missed opportunities.

Frank Zaga Tumeesigye, Brian Aheebwa all had opportunities but failed to convert.

Kitara FC joins other teams on the stage like Vipers, Young Simba as well Police FC.

Kitara FC will now shift focus to Uganda Premier league where they will visit KCCA FC on 23rd of Feb.
