KCCA FC come from a goal down to defeat URA in an epic encounter

KCCA FC 3-2 URA FC – MTN Omondi Stadium.

Busoga United 2-1 Kitara FC – FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

SC Villa 3-0 UPDF FC – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Mbarara City FC 2-1 Wakiso Giants – Kakyeka Stadium.

Soltilo Bright Stars 1-0 Maroons FC – Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

KCCA FC continued with their impressive form when they edged URA FC on a 3-2 score at MTN Omondi Stadium.

It was the fourth consecutive win for KCCA FC who seem to have gotten back life.

KCCA FC needed maximum energy for maximum points as they were led two times but were able to get back on top as possible.

URA broke the deadlock first through youngster Norman Namanya who striked in the 4th minute.

KCCA FC replied in the 48th minute through Herbert Achai who headed in a well taken Eric Ssenjobe’s free kick.

In the 59th minute, Viane Sekajugo restored the lead for Obua’s side URA.

The same Viane Sekajugo levelled matters for KCCA FC when he headed in past his own goalkeeper.

Second half substitute Mohamed Shaban finally got KCCA FC the third in the 72nd minute, after James Begisa’s chest back pass failed to reach his goalkeeper.

The results saw KCCA move to 9th place to 19 points.

With URA FC, they remained 7th with 20 points from 14 games.
