Gaddafi signs former Vipers’ defender

Jinja based side Gaddafi FC have confirmed the signing of Former Vipers’ defender Bashir Asiku.

Bashir Asiku has put pen on paper a 6 month contact at the Army side.

He joins Gaddafi FC from Wakiso Giants where he joined in August of last year.

Despite many thinking that Asiku would play a big role at Wakiso Giants, it hasn’t been the way as the defender has spent much of his time at Suspension and injuries.

Gaddafi FC expects Asiku to bolster their defense as they will be seeking to maintain their place in the Uganda Premier league.

In few hours back, Gaddafi also announced the signing of Former Buddu captain Ayman Twaha.

The two joins Ivan Sserubiri, Hassan Musana, Rogers Kiwanuka, Jackson Wabuleta as the other new signing.

As per, Gaddafi FC occupy the 13th place with 16 points from 15 games.

Gaddafi will open up the second round of Uganda Premier league with URA on 9th of Feb before facing off Vipers on 16th of Feb.
