Alex Isabirye extends stay at Express FC

Head Coach Alex Isabirye has extended his stay at Seven time Uganda Premier league winners Express FC.

Alex Isabirye replaced James Odoch in the middle of the first round after the later shown exit door following poor performances.

Alex Isabirye signed in as an interim manager to take on Express till the end of first round and his good performances as attracted Express to extend his stay.

Alex Isabirye confirmed the development on his X handle.

” Today, the 12th of January 2024, l officially put pen to paper as Express FC head coach on a permanent deal”.

Alex Isabirye last four games at Express ended in his favour the form that saw the Mukwano gwa banji team push to 6th place on the Uganda Premier league table.

Alex Isabirye won NEC FC (5-2), Vipers SC (2-0), Arua hills (1-0) as well Gaddafi FC (3-0).

Alex Isabirye is a former winner of the Uganda Premier league as well Stanbic Uganda Cup at Vipers that is last season.

Isabirye will be aiming to help Express reach to the same glory.
