URA edge Mbarara City FC to move close to top four

URA FC 3-0 Mbarara City FC -Mehta Grounds.

URA FC under the guidance of head coach David Obua picked up a crucial win against Mbarara City in the race of title of Uganda Premier League.

URA started the game with young players and usually benched players but Mbarara City FC was not a match though.

Youngester Norman Namanya, Innocent Kisolo and Denis Ssekibengo were all given a chance to start.

Norman Namanya gifted URA FC a deserved lead in the 35th minute.

Second half substitutes, Moses Aliro and Ivan Ahimbisibwe added on the 2nd and 3rd goal in the 87th and 90+4 minutes respectively.

The results pushed URA to 6th place on 20 points while Mbarara City FC remained 11th on 13 points.

URA will next play KCCA FC on Tuesday while Mbarara City will be taking on Wakiso Giants.
