SUPL: KCCA edge 10man UPDF to enter top half

UPDF 1-2 KCCA FC – Bombo Military Grounds.

Kitara FC 7-1 Arua hills – Masindi Stadium.

BUL FC 1-0 Busoga United – FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

KCCA FC continued their impressive form when they edged UPDF FC on a 2-1 score at Bombo Military Grounds.

It was the third consecutive win for the Kasasiro boys that even saw them move to top half of the Uganda Premier League.

KCCA FC started the better side and this was not a wonder for them to score the first goal through Ashraf Mugume in the opening 20 minutes.

At the start of the second half, UPDF FC levelled matters through Rashid Faridi.

Few minutes later, KCCA FC’S Captain Filbert Obenchan grabbed them the winner.

UPDF FC were later reduced to 10 men after player Aggrey Kirya was given marching orders after fouling Mohamed Shaban.

The results saw KCCA FC move to 8th place on 16 points from 13 games.

On the other hand, UPDF FC remained in the 15th place with 9 points from 13 games.

Elsewhere BUL FC continued to shine after their 1-0 victory against Busoga United in the Jinja Derby at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Alex Kitata was on target on BUL FC’S side.

At Masindi Stadium, Kitara FC edged Arua hills on a 7-1 score.

With unrare scenes, Arua hills failed to turn up as expected as only 8 players were around to play the game.

The results left Kitara second on the log with 26 points, Arua hills remained last on the Uganda Premier league. log
