Startimes Uganda Premier League: Ssemujju nets hattrick in URA FC win against Arua Hill 

URA FC came from a goal down to beat Arua Hill 4-1 in a game played at Mehta stadium in Lugazi.

Joseph Ssemujju scored a hat-trick and Ibrahim Dada added a goal as URA FC completed a well deserving comeback over Arua Hill. Initially, Safi Mansoor had put Arua Hill in the lead.

In just five minutes, Reagan Mpande made a wonderful run to beat his two markers and his sweet low cross found Safi Mansoor at the far and tapped in to give the visitors the lead.

Two minutes later, Arua Hill nearly doubled the lead but goalkeeper Omwedwa pulled off a fine save to deny Mpande. from a shot off a corner kick from the right.

In the 26th minute, Laban Tibiita was denied by the goalkeeper resulting to the corner and Tibiita took the corner which was headed in by Joseph Ssemujju to level the matters.

Two minutes later, Ibrahim Dada scored a screamer from outside the the box that left the goalkeeper with no chance to put URA in the lead before the break. The goal made Arua Hill’s gaffer Livingstone Mbabazi appreciate with a smile wondering the technique.y

In the second half, Joseph Ssemujju extended the lead for the hosts and his second goal on the day in the 58th minute. Laban Tabiita played a through ball and Ssemujju made a run inside the box with many options he decided to take the shot and found the back of the net.

Ssemujju completes his hat trick with another beautiful finish in the top right upper corner off a Bangwani assist in the 72nd minute to make it 4-1. In the same game, Laban Tibiita and Bangwani both registered two assists.

Substitute Oketch almost made it 5 but he was denied by the goalkeeper’s incredible save and Ahimbisibwe shot on the rebound went over the bar.

This was a back to back home win for URA FC and all being comebacks and they’re yet to lose a game at home this season. Arua Hill remained at the bottom of the table.
