Mbale Heroes continued to enjoy their brilliant season in BET PAWA FUFA Big League when they edged Blacks Power on a 1-0 score at Mbale Municipal Stadium.
It was a moment to enjoy for Mbale Heroes as the three points got them close to table leaders Police FC as well Promotional seats.
Herbert Kibiranga scored the only goal for Mbale Heroes in the 25th minute.
Blacks Power tried to get back into the game but Mbale Heroes were able to defend their lead.
In other games, Police FC managed to maintain their top place when they edged Kiyinda Boys on a 3-1 score at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
Isaac Ogwang, Reagan Male and Emmanuel Mugume scored the three goals for Police while Khasim Mustapha scored the lonely goal for the visitors.

Lugazi FC who managed to defeat Kigezi Homeboyz on a 2-1 score remained second with 24 points from 11 games.
Blacks Power comes third with 20 points level with Mbale Heroes who are fourth because of an inferior goal difference.
