Uganda Clinch the 2023 Africa Aquatic Zone III Swimming Championships

Uganda national swimming team were crowned the overall winners of the 8th edition of the Africa Aquatic Zone III swimming championships held in Kigali Rwanda.

Uganda dominated the ten participating countries both in the women and the men categories to finsh top of the table with a combined team score of 3,206 points finishing above the 2022 champions Tanzania with Kenya finnishing third and the hosts Rwanda settling for a fourth place finish.

Several of the swimmers walked away with MVP awards and others runners up after amassing lots of points like Pendo Mukalazi.
