In a UCU dominated game, Busitema had the first goal scoring opportunity but striker John Derrick Waduma fired inches wide as he missed a glorious opportunity to put the visitors ahead as early as the 5th minute.

Peter Kyomuhendo gaev the hosts a deserved lead in the 19th minute as he pounced on a loose ball in the box after a resulting free kick and put the ball in the back of the net.

Busitema tried to get back into the game but their efforts couldn’t trouble the UCU goalkeeper John Collins Wesonga who looked sharp in goal as the first half ended in a UCU 1-0 lead against Busitema.

With just a minute into the second half, Kyomuhendo doubled his tally as he scored the second goal in the day to send UCU in a 2-0 lead.

It looked like it was game over for Busitema but the hosts UCU were not done yet as Isaac Ofoyirwoth also spared time to register his name on the score sheet in the 80th minute.

In the 82nd minute, Peter Kyomuhendo also completed his hattrick as he scored to make it a 7-1 win for UCU as they registered their second win in the University Football League.
