SUPL: KCCA FC targets first win as they host NEC FC

KCCA FC will be targeting their first league winin the 2023/24 season as they take on NEC FC under the floodlights at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Under the new leadership of interim head Coach Jackson Magera who replaced departed Sergio Tranguil, KCCA FC will be willing to turn pages and rewrite a new chapter as they are yet to collect a point from the first four league games they have played.

Magera will face a huge task as he takes on the Hussein Mbalangu coached side NEC FC who have started the season in a high winning three out of the four games they have played with their only loss coming away from home against SC Villa.

Jackson Magera revealed how the boys need to gain confidence by winning the game.

” Absolutely percent important because we are looking for confidence and the only way to get that confidence in players is to play and win that game”.

KCCA FC comes into the game second last in the league and will look at the game as a way to start their season.

Meanwhile NEC FC lie in the fourth place and will be also targeting a win to enjoy their good start.

KCCA FC is to be with out Mohamed Shaban due to illness which leaves them with only a limited number of strikers.
