SUPL: 10 man BUL FC edge Arua Hill to maintain perfect start

Arua hills 1-2 BUL FC – Paridi Stadium.

Startimes Uganda Premier League took action on Sunday 2nd October with 10 man BUL FC overcoming Arua hills on a 2-1 score at Paridi Stadium.

Both teams started with a low momentum, though in later minutes BUL proved to be superior and a threatening side.

In the 28th minute, Alex Kitata put BUL in a lead after a great team work that saw Joel Madondo dash two Arua hills defender to cross in.

In the 35th minute, Arua hills equalized through John Rogers who headed in from a corner kick after BUL FC’S defenders failed to clear up.

BUL FC were reduced to 10 men in the 67th minute after a serious foul play of Tahomera on second half substitute Rashid Kawawa.

Arua hills failed to capitalize the advantage as they were never an attacking threat and instead conceded a late goal.

With seventeen minutes to full time, Lawrence Tezikya grabbed the winning goal for 10 man BUL FC.

The results means, BUL FC are yet to lose any game in the ongoing 2023/2024 Uganda Premier League season.

On the other side, Arua hills have failed to win any game in their opening three games.
