Morley Byekwaso named Cranes Head Coa h on interim basis

The Federation of Uganda Football Association earlier named Morley Byekeasa as the interim coach that will be in charge of Uganda Cranes friendly games including Mali and Zambia.

Eversince Uganda Cranes parted ways with head coach Milutin Sredojevic, they haven’t replaced him with FUFA targeting a potential candidate in this position ahead of World Cup qualifiers.

Morley Byekwaso works as an assistant coach of SC Villa’s head coach Dusan Stojanovic.

At his new role, Morley is going to be assisted by Fred Muhumuza who is the interim coach for URA FC.

For Interim goalkeeping coach, Stephen Billy Kiggundu has been handled responsibility while for Interim Fitness Coach Felix Ayobo will be in charge.

Once again Morley Byekwaso will be returnig to National duty having been there at Uganda Hippos in AFCON U-20 in 2021.

Uganda will play Mali on 13th October before playing Zambia on 17th October in United Arab Emirates.
