FUFA Women Super League: Wakiso Hills starts journey at home against Makerere University

Newbies in FUFA Women Super League Wakiso Hills will be today on Sunday 15th October be taking on Makerere University in their first game of the season.

On addition to getting promoted to FUFA Women Super League: Wakiso Hill WFC formed a marriage with Vipers SC that saw many changes come to their way.

Wakiso Hill WFC who were hosting their games in Maya will now host then from St Mary’s Kitende.

Wakiso Hill WFC president Wilber Shaka is optimistic on how his team is ready for challenge in FUFA Women Super League.

” The team has to win 9 games in order to stay in the top division for the 2024/2025 season! l hope they are prepared and up for the challenge”.

Namativu Sarah who is the team captain of Wakiso Hill WFC has promised fans maximum points ahead of the league opener.

” l’m thrilled to lead our team and promise our fans that we aim to make you all proud, after rigorous preparations and training, we’re confident in securing those three points in our opening match”.

For Makerere University WFC, last season they finished fifth with 22 points from 18 games.

In other games, newbies She Maroons will be visiting Asubo Gafford while Kawempe Muslim Ladies will be visiting Rines.
