WAFCON: Khalifa names 36 Players in provisional squad ahead of Algeria game

Ayub Khalifa who is in charge of Uganda Senior Women’s Football National team (Crested Cranes) have named his provisional squad compromised of 36 players ahead of Algeria tie in the 2024 TotalEnergies Women’s African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

The Summoned squad will start preparations on Wednesday by entering a residential camp at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

It will be the Crested Cranes who will be the first to host Algeria on 20th, September at FUFA Technical Center Njeru before Visiting Algeria in Oran in a week later.

The aggregate winner between Uganda and Algeria will face the aggregate winner between Burundi and Ethiopia at the final qualification stage.

The Crested Cranes will be seeking to return to WAFCON for the Second Successive time and the third time overall.

Last year, The Crested Cranes managed to be among the teams that participated in WAFCON in Morocco.
