Maroons 1-1 SC Villa – Prison Grounds, Luzira.
SC Villa picked up their first point in season 2023/2024 when they played out a 1-1 draw with Maroons at Prison Grounds, Luzira.
As the game kicked off, both team’s momentum was low though as the game moved on, Maroons became the better side.
Maroon’s Darius Ojok could put his side in a comfortable zone but failed to capitalize his one v one situation.
As the second half resumed, it was Maroons who were a better side proving in the 60th minute when Amaku headed in thanks to Ojok’s delivery.
Five minutes later, SC Villa responded through center back Odongo.
In the closing minutes, both teams equalled power as none emerged to be superior.
A draw for Maroons takes them in the 5th place with four points.
While SC Villa occupy the 9th place with only one point as they lost their opening game to Kitara (2-1) at Wankulukuku.
