Oyirwoth bags brace in Gomba win against Ssingo, Buddu claim first leg advantage

The Prestigious Masaza Cup reached climax on first leg of quarter finals.

Gomba humbled Ssingo on a 3-0 score with Amus College promising Foward Allan Oyirwoth scoring a brace.

In a game that had many fans cheering for their respective Ssazas, Allan Oyirwoth opened his account for Gomba in the 30th minute before Kimera Kenneth doubled the lead in the 46th minute.

Ssingo consoled in the 73rd minute through Maido Gerald before Allan Oyirwoth completed his brace in the 84th minute.

In the second leg of the fixture, Ssingo will now need to overturn the results with a big score.

In other quarter final games played Bulemeezi played out a goalless draw with Buweekula.

Pius Ssebulime celebrating his goal for Buddu

With Saturday results, Buddu edged Kyadondo on a 2-1 score at Homisdallen Playgrounds thanks to goals from Pius Ssebulime and Meddie Kasule with Ramadan Mwanga for Kyadondo.

Buvuma played out a goalless draw with Mawokota.
