The FUFA Super 8 tournament 2023 reached climax with BUL FC emerging Champions.

BUL FC defeated URA FC in penalties 3-1 after a goalless draw in the final played at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.

It was second half substitute Joel Mutakubwa who put up a man of the match performance when he saved three of the four  penalties from URA FC.

He managed to deny Hudu Mulikyi, Nicholas Kabonge and Sharif Kimbowa from the spot with only Joshua Lubwama converting for the tax collectors.

BUL FC won their first FUFA Super 8 trophy joining KCCA FC and Vipers SC who had won it earlier in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

In the other game to determine which team finish third, KCCA FC edged SC Villa on a 3-2 score.

Usama Arafat scored  a brace for KCCA FC while Ashraf Mugume scored the other.

On the other side, David Owori and Charles Lwanga scored for SC Villa.
