Mbale Heroes 0-0 Kataka FC
Mbale Heroes played out a goalless draw with Kataka FC on Tuesday at Mbale Municipal Stadium.
Mbale Heroes started a better side creating chances and dominating the game but failed to break the deadlock.
Kataka later on gained momentum as they merely got a penalty when Latif Ssenkubuge was fouled by Adrian Sseruyo but the referee instead awarded a freekick.
Kataka didn’t utilise the freekick opportunity as they instead took it wide.
Kataka got other scoring chance in the 19th minute but Lazarus Ocira failed to control.
From there, Mbale Heroes had the control of the game, but again failed to penetrate through Kataka’s solid defence.
Meanwhile Kataka’s strategy of using wings for counter attacks also didn’t pay off as Mbale Heroes was aware.
Both teams will need to count on their next games for more points.
