Sky View lightens up the Boys Schools Cricket Week, tosses in a 30 Million package

Skyview a product of Harris International has announced a 30 million UGX partnership package with the Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) as the official title sponsor of the Skyview Boys’ Schools Cricket Week, 2023 edition.

According to the Harris International Public relations manager Ishta Atukunda shared a breakdown of the 30 Million with 25 as represented in the dummy cheque strictly caring for the organising of the tournament with the 5 million to be invested in promoting the 2023 boys Schools Cricket week.

This year edition will be held in Jinja City from 26 August- 1 September 2023 featuring 16 secondary schools from across the country.

The sponsorship package from Sky View will be used to organize the tournament and support the game of cricket as they aim to further their commitment towards promoting young talent and fostering a spirit of adventure.

The Public Relations Manager of Hariss International, Ms. Ishta Atukunda has hinted on promoting team work and sportsmanship as they aim to go beyond the limits.

“It gives us immense pleasure to associate ourselves with the youth and flagship cricket competition for boys’ secondary schools in Uganda. The game of cricket promotes the values of teamwork and sportsmanship, and this partnership is a true testament to that.” Said Ishta Atukunda.

“Skyview believes in pushing boundaries and going beyond the limits. With this partnership, we hope to inspire young minds to pursue their dreams fearlessly and live life to the fullest.” She added.

The Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) Allan Mugume has heaped praise on the Harris International company for joining the Boys Schools Cricket week as he spoke to the media.

“It is a great pressure to announce the partnership between Uganda Cricket Association and Harris International under their product Sky View ahead of the Boys Schools Cricket Week. The boys schools cricket week has been so influential since 1969, it is where the young boys showcase their talents in the field of Cricket,” said the CEO of the Uganda Cricket Association, Mr. Allan Mugume.

“The Schools Cricket Week is the premium boys’ tournament which is used to select players to represent Uganda at age group tournaments and the purpose is to give the next generation an opportunity to showcase their talents as well as create long lasting memories.” he added.
