KCCA eliminated Wakiso Giants in Quarter finals on a 2-1 score whereas URA FC eliminated Bright Stars on a 2-1 score with new signing Moses Aliro scoring a brace on his debut.

The Kasasiro boys under head coach Sergio Daniel Tranquil are poised to show a big difference as they take on a tougher opponent to who holds a better head to head in the past five seasons.

Head coach Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil is eager to pick maximum points playing at home with his new squad he has assembled.

” We need to show something special in this game. We know our opponents have a very young squad and have signed over 10 players but if we stick to our principles and do the things we have been doing in training all week then we shall have an edge over them”. said Sergio Daniel Moniz the KCCA FC head coach.

KCCA FC is boosted by the return of Angolan right back Bruno Adilson who has recovered well from an injury he sustained in the Kakamega Homeboyz friendly match.

However, KCCA FC are to miss services of Angolan Emilson Gonzaga who is still nursing and injury with club captain Julius Poloto also unavailable due to recovery from injury.

Young teenagers Abubaker Mayanja and Haruna Lukwago won’t also be available due to pre caution measure.

URA FC who are currently under first Assistant Coach Fred Muhumuza will eagerly fight hard to eliminate KCCA FC as they target to win the trophy for their fallen head coach Sam Timbe.

“It has been tough times for us following the death of a father figure in coach Sam Timbe but I thank God we returned to training and the spirit is good. We have made the players know that the coach Timbe needed this success and now they have to win to make him proud. We are playing a good side but if we are to win silverware we have to be set and ready to face anyone.” said Fred Muhumuza.

Statistics favour URA FC who have so far won 12 times in their last 26 meetings against KCCA who only managed 7 win with. Seven.

URA will be targeting final slot to win their first FUFA Super 8 tournament while KCCA FC will be looking for their second time having won the tournament in 2018.
