As it is a normal case at every month for Fortebet Real Stars to name the best atheles for the month in various sports disciplines, the month of July was dominated by ladies with action I football returning on board.
In an awarding ceremony held at Lazio Restaurant in Lugogo on Tuesday morning, six atheletes from six sports were awarded.
The following sports included Basketball ball, Rugby, football, Para-badminton, Draughts and Rally.
In basketball, Gazelle’s Foward Jannon Otto scooped the award.
Otto won on the expense of her teammates Jane Asinde and Junior as well Silverbacks player Tejan Joel.
Otto was impressive when he helped the Gazelles finish seventh at the Continent in which tornament she managed to finish topscorer with 128 points.
In Rugby, Arnold Atukunda who plays for Pirates clinched the award.
The energetic winger helped his side reach two National Sevens circuit wins including one of Stone City in Jinja and the other of Kitgum Sevens.
In Draught, Flavia Kusiima who secured six medals in Zambia in the third African draughts 64 Championship and world Cup event won the award.
In Football, Crested Cranes star Fazila Ikwaput scooped the award after helping her side pass Rwanda in Olympic qualifiers.
In Rally, after winning the EMC Moil Jinja Rally, The Moil Rally duo of Yasin Naser and Ali Katumba were of no doubt only to scoop the award.
They beat pairs of Ronald Ssebuguzi and Anthony Mugambwa, Ibrahim Lubega and Mustafa Kanakulya.
In Para-badminton, Sarah Nazziwa scooped the award after securing two bronze medals at the Uganda international Para Badminton in Lugogo.
To add more awards on her name, She also won two gold medals and one silver in the same tournament.
