Fans day out as SC Villa intensifies 2023/2024 season football with a Fans Gala

As fans across Uganda yearn for the start of the 2023/2024 Uganda Premier League Season, SC Villa fans under their leadership have organised a fans day out which will take place in Saturday 2nd September at Villa park in Nsambya.

The second edition of the Fans Gala is organised under the fans leadership as it will target alot of entraining activities and also teaching the fans on the rules and regulations they have to follow during the matches as a result to avoid points loss in fans violence.

Fans Violence was one of the issues that costed the might Joogos last season’s UPL trophy which they lost out on the last day of the season, SC Villa completed the season with a 2 points deduction due to fans violation of the games code of conduct.

This will be one of the key issues sighted out on the upcoming second edition of the fans gala. It will also have fans compete in a football tournament with the overall winner walking away with a trophy.

The football tournament will only be participated in by only VMT’s holders who will come from the seven confirmed SC Villa branches with the likes of Natete, Kalerwe, Jinja, Entebbe, Villa Park branch, Makerere and Mabarara already confirming participating in two groups. The other group will completed by a guest team SONA.

The football games will be played in a 7 aside format with each team playing with a lady in the team except the final which will be played in a normal game of 11 aside. 

The best performing SC Villa fans branch will walk away with a Bull whether they lose out in thr tournament.

Registration by fans is 50.000 SHS.

SC Villa will start their Uganda Premier League season with a home match against newcomers Kitara FC at their home in Wankulukuku Stadium.
