Rayon Sports 3-0 APR FC – Pele Kigali Stadium
Uganda’s forwards Charles Bbaale and Joachim Ojera both appeared on the score sheet as Rayon Sports were overcoming APR with a 3-0 in the Rwanda’s Super Cup finals.
Charles Bbaale headed in as early as the 6th minute and was also his first goal at Rayon Sports.
Rayon Sports were very organized in defence that saw them finish the normal time without being equalised.
In added minutes, Rayon Sports were awarded two minutes and easily converted them to ink a 3-0 score.
Rashid Kalisa who was at his debut took one before Ugandan forward Joachim Ojera took the later.
It have to be noted that at the end of last season, Rayon Sports also beat APR to win the Peace Cup.
Tadeo Lwanga didn’t feature for APR neither did Simon Tamale for Rayon Sports.
Rayon Sports now shifts focus to preparations of CAF Confederation Cup and so is APR in CAF Champions league.
