Uganda Premier League champions Vipers has confirmed signing Richard Matovu as their new signing in this ongoing transfer window.
The left back joins the Venoms on a two-year contract after ending his spell at Arua Hill.
“I am very excited and can’t wait to work with the group,” Matovu is quoted by the Club.
“Things didn’t pan out as I would have loved and when Vipers came calling, it was a no brainer for me to move. I am happy the deal got done.”

He will compete for a starting place with Isa Mubiru and youngster Enock Luyima, after the departure of Dissab Galiwango.
Matovu has also played for BUL FC and Kyetume FC and becomes the third new signing at Vipers after Brazilian Striker Goncarlo Rodriguez and Midfielder David Bagoole.
