Transfers: URA FC confirms the departure of 11 players

Four time Uganda Premier league winners URA FC have confirmed the departure of eleven players.

URA FC main target of releasing players is to accommodate their new signings in the squad.

The released players include some with contract expiration while others have parted with the club on mutual consert.

Among departed players with contract expiration include Patrick Mbowa, Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Kabon Living.

While players released include George Ssenkaaba, Patrick Matovu, Benjamin Nyakoojo, Yusuf Wasswa, Kokas Alou, Micheal Lubowa, Salim Abdallah, and Ronald Dickson Kigongo.

Among the confirmed departed players, exclude custodian Nafian Alionzi who has been linked with Ethiopian side.

URA FC are in preparations of next season as they aim for perform better than the previous one.

Last season, they finished 5th, they were drawn on Arua hills in the upcoming FUFA Super 8 tournament.

URA FC have already confirmed the signings of goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa, Denis Otim, Godfrey Ssekibengo, Moses Aliro, Ibrahim Wammanah and Norman Namanya.
