The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has confirmed match officials that will be in charge of the first leg between Uganda and Rwanda in Women’s Olympic Qualifiers.

The Crested cranes of Uganda will be hosting Rwanda on 12th August in their first leg of the Women Olympic Qualifiers at Kigali Pele Stadium.

The reason behind the Crested Cranes hosting Rwanda in Rwanda is because Uganda failed to present a stadium worthy CAF standards.

Uganda will then later visit Rwanda in the return leg on 16th of July 2023 on the same Stadium.

Among the confirmed match officials include Jonesia Rukyaa Kabakama as the center referee.

Charles Janet Balama and Glory John Tesha will be the referee’s first and second assistants.

All the referees confirmed are from neighbouring country Tanzania (Tanzanians).

Nuru Tatu Malogo a Tanzanian too will act as the fourth official while Geinevieve Lukusa Kanjinga as the referee’s assessor.

Tibitha Aambui Njoroge was confirmed as the match commissioner.

The Crested Cranes of Uganda already arrived in Rwanda and will be eager for maximum points in the first leg.
