Mustafa Kizza bids farewell to KCCA FC

Left back Mustafa Kizza has confirmed his departure from the Lugogo based side KCCA FC.

Mustafa Kizza had signed a six month working contract in his second spell but injuries have limited his success and hence the team opted not to renew his working contract.

He joined KCCA the second spell after the termination of his working contract with Portuguese side FC Arouca in December last year.

Mustafa Kizza sent his farewell message to KCCA FC’S fans and thanked the management of KCCA for his second spell via his social media platforms.

” As l bid farewell (again!) to my boyhood club, l am also filled with gratitude for giving me the opportunity to play again”.

” It was a tough season, injuries didn’t help either. There are somethings l think l wish we did better, but that’s life”.

” l am always proud to represent the cityzens and to do my best whenever given a chance. Now l have to move on, but with gratitude in my heart. Thanks to all fans for support during the good and bad times. l wish you the best of luck for the season and always”, Mustafa sorrowly concluded.

KCCA FC have already confirmed the departure of other senior players like Allan Okello, Brian Majwega, Wasswa Geoffrey, John Revita and goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan.

KCCA FC already announced head coach Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil ahead of 2023/2024 season.

KCCA FC will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup having finished second on the Uganda Premier league log.
