Moses Aliro Leaves Wakiso Giants

Wakiso Giants versatile player Moses Aliro has penned an emotional farewell message to his club.

Aliro leaves the Purple Sharks after two years and he made his departure official in a written statement posted on his socials.

In his message, Aliro thanked all the Wakiso Giants faithful, the board for granting him the opportunity.

“Thanks for the amazing two years shared together wakiso giants family. I thank the board members, the fans and the president for the amazing support both in and out of the pitch. To the coaching staff and players, thanks for the guidance and love. Wish u all well💜,” Aliro wrote on his Facebook page.

Aliro had joined Wakiso Giants way back in September 2021, after ending his stay at KCCA FC.

And ever since his arrival at Wakiso Giants, he established himself a main stay at the club for the last two seasons.

Unlike during his time at KCCA where he was normally used as a right back, Aliro has scored goals in and out given the fact that he was handed a more offensive role at Wakiso Giants.

Following his departure, Aliro has been strongly linked with a move to URA FC, with only official unveiling pending.

He recently had trials at Tanzanian side Yanga Africans together with his teammate Sharif Kimbowa, a move that did not yield good fruits.

Aliro is a KCCA FC graduate, a former Kibuli SS captain and he also featured for Doves All Stars, a side that used to compete in the FUFA Big League.
