Masaza Cup: Busiro’s Kirya unmoved, targets first group stage win against Mawogola

The defending champions Busiro will play thier first home game in the Masaza Cup group stages against Mawogola at Kabaka Kyabagu Stadium in Wakiso despite hosting the opener at Wankulukuku Stadium. 

Head Coach Ibrahim Kirya is confident of guiding his side to their first win in the group stages as they play Infront of their fans as he remains unmoved amidst the fake news that surrounded the media spaces of him being sacked after the loss against Ssese.

“We are set for tomorrow’s game so we are going to field the best side that will help us return to winning ways, as the defending champions everyone expects us to always perform better and so we are going to make sure we give our fans the best we can.” Said Ibrahim Kirya.

“We have worked on our defending which has been a major cause for the loses poor performances as we have been conceding in every game we have played so far, we have been scoring goals but we failed to compose our selves in defending our side so we have worked upon that as we head in the game against Mawogola.” 

“The is set and ready to go as we have no injuries registered at the moment and everyone is in good shape so we are going to make sure that we assemble the best team which is going to make us victorious against Mawogola.” Kirya as he was speaking to the press.

Mawogola sit second in the Muganzirwaza group with five points garnered from the three games they have played and are yet to lose a single game, Busiro will have to work hard if they are to pick their first win as they play from home.

Team Captain Vincent Agaku has called upon alm the fans to come in big numbers and support the team as they return home in Wakisha, and is eager to guide his teammates as they view for their first group stage win.

“I call upon all our fans to come and support us in big numbers as we return home at Kabaka’s Kyabagu Stadium in Wakiso, this is the first game we are going to play at home and the fans are going to be a major factor which pushes in all the remaining games as we return back to winning ways.” Said Agaku

“The team is well motivated as we have been payed allowances and everyone is now set to play the game with focused mind, the motivation factor is going to push us more as we hunt for our first group stage win.” He added 

The PRO has called upon fans to come and support Busiro in huge numbers with the game being played at Wakisha playgrounds.

Entrance for the game is 5000 UGX in the ordinary section, 10.000 UGX for the VIP and 20.000 for the VIP stands
