Joel Mutakubwa: BUL Confirms Signing Goalkeeper

Uganda Premier League side BUL has unveiled goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa as their second new signing in this ongoing Transfer window.

Mutakubwa joins the Eastern giants on a two-year contract after ending his stay at neighbours Gaddafi FC.

He becomes the Club’s second signing after Striker Gerald Ogweti who joined from Big League side Lugazi FC.

It’s becoming a busy period for BUL who recently unveiled head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko.

The side recently released Richard Wandyaka, Ivan Wani and goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa while Hillary Onek has extended his stay with contract renewal.

Mutakubwa, if he decides to, is one of the best goalkeepers on the local scene and his performances have earned him calls on the National team.

He is a league and Cecafa Kagame Cup winner with Express FC, a side he left to join Gaddafi.

He has also had stints with Busoga United, Kyetume and Tooro United.
