KCCA FC has officially unveiled Brazilian born player Joao Gabriel Esteves Cardoso as their first signing.
Cardoso, a 21-year old attacker, has been unveiled on Saturday evening and this was made official via the club’s official social media handles.
“Welcome Jao Gabriel Esteves Cardoso to KCCA Football Club,” reads a statement from KCCA.
Joao Gabriel has previously played for a couple of teams in Brazil.
He featured for Flamengo (2019-20) and Cabofriense, where has been before joining KCCA FC.
He becomes the first official signing at the Lugogo based side in the ongoing transfer window .
And as well, he will be the first Brazilian player to play for KCCA in recent times.
Per reports, KCCA will be expected to unveil two Angolan players as they seek to beef up their squad.
KCCA also confirmed the promotion of young centre back James Mubeezi to the senior team on Saturday.
The club has also already let go of nine players including left back Mustafa Kizza and Midfielder Allan Okello.
They will be expected to kick off their pre season training on Sunday July 16th under the new Portuguese coach Sergio Daniel Traguil.
