ISF World Schools Football 2023: Uganda’s Amus College humiliate Nexus of Nepal in group A opener

Uganda 2 ( Amus College Bukedea) 26-01 Nexus (Nepal)

Second Uganda representatives Amus College Bukedea humiliated Nepal’s Nexas with a 26 -1 score.

Allan Oyirwoth scored eight goals, Murushid Wandera scored 5, Erick Kamuhanda and captain Brian Mujab scored three, Amos Ayikobua and Genesis Odiya scored two while Alvin Ssekamatte, Farouk Habib Ssebi and John Brian Otim scored one.

Krishna Ale Bahadur scored the lonely goal for Nexus as he hit from his own half.

It wasn’t a surprise for a win of Amus College but the score was a statement in the competition.

With being organized, Amus College landed at Mohammed VI Sports Complex a hour before the game while Nexus School players came a few minutes before kick off.

Amus College head coach Nimrod Kintu argued his players to focus on the next game despite of the heavy win.

” It is a very good win, l am happy for the team. We have other games coming up and the player should focus on the games yet to come”.

In other opening game in group E, Uganda’s representatives Kibuli SS lost to 9 man Qatar.
