Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia has been kicked out of CAF Champions league by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

CAF ordered Football Kenyan Federation (FKF) to delicense Got Mahia in next year’s CAF Champions league after failing to meet CAF licensing requirements.

” It is also a reminder of the importance of meeting CAF’s licensing requirements ” a source at FKF confirmed the development before.

The woes at Gor Mahia started when players including Burundian striker Jules Ulimwengu, Congolese Yangayay and Milan Adama Keita reported to FIFA due to failure to pay their taxes.

Gor Mahia won the 2022/2023 Kenya Premier league taking their tally to 20.

They are under tactics of former Uganda Cranes head coach Jonathan Mckinstry.

The CAF Champions league draws will be held today on Friday, 21st July.
