Uganda Premier League side Arua Hill FC have announced the signing of defender Nelson Mandela on a one year contract.
The Arua based defender has been acquired from Jinja based side Busoga United where he spent the whole of last one season as a surplus to the team.
He becomes the club’s second official signing in the ongoing transfer window as the club is looking forward to strengthen its structures after the loss of experienced players Rashid Toha, Bright Vuni and Richard Matovu.
Arua Hill has lost a couple of players in the ongoing transfer window due to its financial constraints. They finished fourth in Uganda Premier League last season with 44points from the 28 games played.
Among the released players include Rashid Toha, Innocent Media, Rogers Omedwa, Innocent Maduka, Bright Joseph Vuni, Isaac Okello, Richard Anyama and Richard Matovu.
