Vipers Enter Partnership With New Women Super League Entrant

Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have entered into a partnership with newly promoted FUFA Women Super League side Wakiso Hill WFC .

It has been understood that the two sides reached an agreement with only official unveiling pending.

The move was inevitable for Vipers, who were required by CAF to have or enter into a partnership with a Women Club if they are to participate in next season’s CAF Champions League competition.

And with the deadline fast approaching (June 30th), the move was all that Vipers needed to meet the set guidelines.

Vipers now join KCCA, who already entered into partnership with Kampala Queens and the Lugogo based side will represent the country at the CAF confederation cup next season.

Wakiso Hills WFC finished 2nd in the just Concluded Women Elite league collecting 37 points from 18 matches, thus earning a direct promotion to next season’s FUFA Women Super.

The club, founded in 2010 as Girls School team is one of the pioneer clubs in the inaugural FUFA Women elite League way back 2014/15.
